Haiti – Politics: “The Transient College of the CEP (CTCEP), a successful plot” according to Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé

The swearing, followed by the installation of the nine members of Transient College of Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP) took place on Friday morning at the Supreme Court in the presence of Minister of Justice, Jean Renel Sanon, and representatives of three branches of government and the diplomatic corps.
The President of the Senate, Desras Simon Dieuseul, warned the executive against any attempt to prevent the holding of elections this year. He urged the government to install the electoral advisers in their duties in the best time to prepare the electoral process, noting that Parliament should vote the new electoral law which will be proposed by the CEP.
